Do you know that we consumed 30% of Earth's natural resources in the last 30 years?

That the Amazon loses 2000 trees a minute?

That 99% of the goods we buy will end up in the trash less than 6 months after they are bought?

That's why we must consume less, consume better.

Mount-Royal Windsor Chairs

Seeds
  1. Seeds of hope: every tree that is harvested to make a chair will be replaced by a seedling of the same species;
  2. Local woods: all woods used in the production of my chairs are harvested locally to reduce excessive fossil fuel consumption;
  3. Construction quality: no compromise will be accepted on the quality of my chairs. I will build them with the best of my abilities with the best of materials;
  4. Finishing: chairs have an intimate relationship with us. It is of primordial importance that they are finished using non toxic materials, as all my chairs are;
  5. By-product recycling: by-products of hand made Windsor chairs are wood shakes. These are re-used as mulch;
  6. Perennity: all my chairs are built to last. They are durable goods, that will become prized family heirlooms.

You have ideas or suggestions? Please let me know so that I can put them in practice!
